WiFi 6E

Definition

WiFi 6E extends WiFi 6 into the 6 GHz spectrum, a new band that's far less congested than the traditional 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. It offers more wide channels available, less interference from neighboring networks, and better performance in environments with many devices connected at once.

Why it matters for your business

In a hotel, office, or venue with a high concentration of connected people, WiFi 6E reduces the saturation that causes slowdowns at peak hours — the 6 GHz band today is practically empty compared to 2.4 and 5 GHz.
