Captive Portal

Definition

A captive portal is the login page that appears when connecting to a public or guest WiFi network, which may require accepting terms, entering a password, or authenticating before reaching the internet.

Why it matters for your business

Beyond access control, a branded captive portal is a marketing tool: it captures contact data with consent and can offer tiered levels of access.
