Redundancy
Definition
Redundancy means having more than one component capable of performing the same critical function — a second switch, a second internet link, a second power source — so that the failure of one doesn't interrupt service.
Why it matters for your business
Redundancy isn't 'spending twice': it's identifying the single points of failure in your operation and duplicating only those, where the cost of an interruption far outweighs the cost of the backup.
