PoE

Definition

PoE (Power over Ethernet) is the technology that carries electrical power and data over the same network cable, eliminating the need for separate electrical wiring to power cameras, WiFi access points, or IP phones.

Why it matters for your business

In existing buildings, especially historic ones or those with construction constraints, PoE drastically cuts the cost and complexity of installing new equipment: no new electrical run needed, just a network cable.
