Zero Trust
Definition
Zero Trust is a security model that starts from the premise that no device or user is trusted by default, not even inside the internal network. Every access is explicitly verified — identity, device posture, context — instead of assuming that being 'inside the network' is enough.
Why it matters for your business
The traditional 'secure perimeter, trusted interior' model no longer works with remote work, personal devices, and external vendors with access to systems. Zero Trust limits the blast radius of a stolen credential, because that credential alone isn't enough to move freely through the network.
