Definition
NIS2 (EU Directive 2022/2555) is the European cybersecurity regulation that requires a broad universe of companies — not just classic critical infrastructure — to actively manage cyber risk, report incidents on tight deadlines (24-72 hours), and hold leadership accountable for compliance.
