PMS
Definition
A PMS (Property Management System) is a hotel's central software that manages reservations, check-in/check-out, billing, and room availability, and often integrates with electronic key systems and the point of sale.
Why it matters for your business
The PMS is the most critical system in hotel operations and the one with the least tolerance for downtime — which is why it belongs on its own VLAN, with traffic priority and redundancy.
